We joined with pleasure the Sunday Walks with Frank. Every year during winter season, we walk around Kythera island, guided walks led by Frank, Kythira’s walking specialist. Frank has developed a unique and varied walking program through the years, with a finest selection of his favourite walks. Each walk covers a different part of the island. Every Sunday.
The walks are suitable for sporty and experienced walkers in good physical condition or amateurs and kids. During these guided walks, Frank will explain in English, Greek and in Dutch about flora and fauna, history, culture and daily island life. After – or during – every walk, you will have an open-air picnic or lunch in the nature. The idea and the execution is always amazing.
We had an lovely time, walking around the area of Kato Livadi, starting from the famous Katouni bridge and taking natural paths and routes around villages of Fatsadika, Travasarianika and Saint Eirini chapel.
